FLOWEY
MAIN
DESCRIPTION
A living flower that is the first creature you encounter. He's cutesy on the outside and has a knack for funny faces, but in truth he is a sadistic creature who, due to being soulless, can't feel hope, compassion or love. He also likes making scary faces as much as he does funny ones. This twisted little flower lives by one rule: "In this world, it's kill or be killed."

ACTS
Enhanced Intelligence
Users with this power possess extreme levels of intellect, enabling them to memorize and calculate vast amounts of information with exceptional precision.Flower Physiology
The user either is or can transform their body completely into a flower or flowers. The users' transformed form is anatomically identical to their normal form, aside of being made of flowers, in which case, it contains all to organs and is somewhat vulnerable to attacks. Alternately, the user can transform into homogeneous matter, without any part of their form being more important than the other.Plant Manipulation
Users can create, shape, and manipulate plants, mainly multicellular organisms, predominantly photosynthetic eukaryotes of Plantae, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, roots, fruits and flowers. The user can cause plants to grow, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk", mutate plants by rearranging DNA structure and revive withered or dead plants. They can use their power for defense and support, cause flowers and other plants to bloom instantaneously, manipulate tree branches to use them as whip-like weapons, control spores and pollen, bring plants back to life and make them sprout seeds/fruits/berries, use plant chemicals to heal people/objects, and/or manipulate their properties for a wide range of effects. Though less commonly activated by passive users, the ability may deal a series of offensive techniques on a target. Using the plants as weapons enables users to grasp and strike continuously with vines and roots, project thorns at a distance, and quickly regenerate the withering weapons at the user’s will. They can grow vines to entangle enemies climb around a target's neck, causing choking, or strike with plants. A more subtle technique is to release damaging toxins and pheromones, affecting targets in which conditions should be treated quickly with ailments. Users may also control plants in their altered forms, i.e., concentrated forms, such as cotton clothing/fabric, paper, etc.Soul absorption
The user can absorb/devour individuals as souls, while removing them from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as a power source, etc., either temporarily or permanently.Binding
User is able to use mental, physical, spiritual, etc. traits that bind, imprison, paralyze and/or otherwise stop targets moving normally and possibly completely freezing them where they were. It can be achieved using various means including energy-based or physical restraints or mental effects.Pellet attacks
User can throw sharp pellets.Manipulation
Ability of the exercise of harmful influence over others.4th Wall awareness
The user is aware that one's Universe is a fictional/false one, allowing them to carry out acts that, within the Universe would otherwise be impossible.STATUS

FEATURES
* Flowey and Mettaton represent the two characters with voice clips; Flowey says "That's a wonderful idea!" at the end of the Ruins on a Genocide Route, plus two unused audio clips.* This phrase is a higher-pitched clip of an old McDonald's commercial originating from the 1960s.
* There are other clips within the commercial which also match voice and sound clips within the game. For example, Photoshop Flowey's "hurt" sounds originate.
* Flowey's laugh is not a new asset and can be recognized in other media. It was originally a Warner Bros. sound effect mostly used in Pink Panther cartoons and has appeared in titles such as the PlayStation title Tomba! and the Homestuck soundtrack The Lordling, also by Toby Fox.
* Flowey shares the same color palette as his former self Asriel: white, green, yellow, and black.
* In a joke thread on Starmen.Net, when Undertale was called "UnderBound 2," it was revealed that Flowey was planned to be the reincarnation of "Face," who was the protagonist of the non-existent EarthBound hack, UnderGround.
* The artbook mentions that Flowey was partially inspired by Face from the "NES Godzilla Creepypasta" written by Cosbydaf.
* Flowey's character might be inspired by flowers from EarthBound, which Toby did include in one of his hacks.
* Despite his insistence that he can't feel love or compassion without a SOUL, Flowey's words when opening the game for the first time after a True Pacifist run, as well as his words and actions from the Undertale Alarm Clock app, imply that he does have some capacity to care about other people. In the former, he pleads the player to not reset everything again and let everyone stay happy. In the latter, he finds Toriel passed out after a party and leaves her a glass of water, mirroring an earlier instance where he moved her to bed and left her a glass of water after seeing her collapsed in the Ruins. This implies that it was not simply the events of the True Pacifist route that caused this compassion.
* There is actually some truth to this as actual plants are able to feel emotions in a limited capacity through their senses.
